Limited warranty

We want you to keep enjoying your new ROMET bike for years to come. Your bike is under warranty from the moment you buy it, however it applies to bicycles purchased from Approved ROMET Retailer or right here from our website.

Your new bike must have service book stamped by VAT register Bike Shop/Technician annually. Every ROMET bike is checked and tested prior sale by the Authorized Technician and service book must be stamped.


Your warranty covers

  • 2 year cover on the bike frame against cracking due to a manufacturing defect
  • 2 year cover on electrics, such as motor, controller and battery
  • 2 year cover on non-wearable parts, such as the handlebar or stem


What your warranty does not cover

All bikes experience wear and tear, and there are some situations which are not covered by your warranty. These include but are not limited to:

  • Damage or failure due to abuse, accident, misuse, improper repair, lack of servicing or neglect (including electric motor and battery – check manual), corrosion
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper assembly or maintenance
  • Modifications, alterations or installation of parts not originally on the bike as sold


Subsequent ownership

Please note that your warranty is non-transferable and is only valid if you are the original purchaser.


Need to make a warranty claim?

For any warranty claim to be considered, the bicycle must be brought in to an Authorized ROMET Retailer in the UK where you purchased bike from. The bicycle must be in an assembled, reasonably clean and sanitary condition and accompanied by the original, dated sales receipt and bicycle service book (be sure to keep your receipt and service book in a safe place!).

This limited warranty is void if the bicycle is used in a rental or bike sharing program.

Due to product evolution and obsolescence (such as products that have been discontinued or are no longer kept in stock), some frames or components may not be available for older or limited edition models. In these cases, ROMET UK may elect to provide a replacement that it determines to be the most nearly comparable model, but sourcing and paying for components is the responsibility of the bicycle owner.

All determinations under this limited warranty will be made in the sole discretion of ROMET UK, including but not limited to the decision to repair or replace a defective product, and what replacement product is the most nearly comparable product then available.
