Delivery options

 

Collect in store – FREE

Please allow up to 24 hours for your item to be ready for collection. You can always contact us to check if a quicker collection is possible. We understand that you can’t wait to ride your new bike. When collecting in person, you must provide your order confirmation.

Our technicians will assemble and configure the bike to your preferences, and then schedule a convenient collection time for you. You’ll receive a notification with your time slot. During the handover, we’ll demonstrate the bike’s functions and make any necessary adjustments. Once you’re satisfied, you can take the bike with you. If you’re transporting the bike by car, our team can assist, but please note that we can’t load bikes onto car racks due to insurance reasons. We’re here to provide guidance if necessary.

 

Boxed & Unbuilt – FREE 

Free delivery – the bike is checked before shipping in the following aspects:

  • 1. completeness of the bike – bike and all accessories according to factory specifications;
  • 2. condition of the frame, all moving parts, and paint
  • 3. for electric bikes our checks include battery, motor, display, charger operation and Shimano/Bafang software update.
  • 4. the bike should be delivered to the customer’s chosen bike shop/workshop, where it will be assembled and adjusted according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. Assembly of the bike in this way is necessary to obtain full warranty rights (see bike manual and our warranty terms and conditions) and must be confirmed in the warranty card attached to the purchased bike.

 

Pre-assembled Option including PDI Report £34.99

  • the bike in this delivery option is checked in every aspect mentioned above in 1-3.
  • additionally – the bike is assembled by our Cytech approved technician and then checked: adjustment of gears and brakes, checking all screw connections using a torque wrench – the customer receives a PDI report confirming the correct assembly of the bike – which is required to obtain the Romet UK warranty

The bike in this option is delivered in a large box, ready to ride. It is only necessary to adjust the handlebars to the riding position and tighten the bar clamp bolts according to the manufacturer’s recommendation and fit the pedals.

Delivery abroad

We do not offer delivery outside of United Kingdom.

 

Do we deliver on weekends?

No. If an order is made over the weekend, the courier will collect the goods on Monday for a Tuesday delivery, but only if the bike is built and safety checks are completed. Otherwise, the bike will be prepared on Monday, collected on Tuesday, and delivered in 48 hours.

If the order is placed on Friday before noon, the courier will collect it on the same day and deliver it on Monday, Tuesday the latest, excluding Bank Holidays, but only if the bike is built and safety checks are completed. Otherwise, the bike will be prepared on Friday, collected on Monday, and delivered in 48 hours by the courier.

 

What happens if I’m not in when my purchase arrives?

A card will be left for you to contact the local depot to arrange the delivery.

If nobody at home to accept goods at the first delivery attempt, Courier will attempt second delivery the following day. If nobody at home to accept delivery at the second time, courier will attempt third delivery the next day. All additional delivery attempts after first one will be extra charged and must be covered by customer.

After three delivery attempts goods will be returned to the seller.

We can also add a note for the courier to leave the parcel with a neighbour or at a safe place, at the responsibility of the customer.

 

How to track delivery?

You will be updated with an email and tracking number and courier details to check the status of your active consignments in real time as they pass through the network.

 

What in case of delivery delay?

Unfortunately, it happens. Please check your tracking number or contact us at 1924 728080.

 

What if the delivered bike will be damaged due delivery?

The goods must be signed for as damaged before any claims process can take place. This also needs to be reported to the courier at the time of delivery. If the goods are lost, this must be reported within 2 days. Please check the Terms and Conditions (T&C’s).

 

Is a signature required?

Yes, unless you have asked us to leave it in specific safe place.

 

Return

The return period for unused and boxed-in-original-packaging products is 30 days from the date you receive your order. If you wish to return a purchased item, please contact us and we will arrange collection at your cost.
