Gravel

A gravel bike is a drop-bar bike designed to ride over many different surfaces.

The drop handlebar and sporty geometry means having a lot of fun riding on the road – but, with wider tyres, lower gearing and stable handling, you can also head light off-road trails with confidence. Riding a bike designed for multi-terrain applications means taking in sections of gravel roads, forest tracks, trails, byways and bridlepaths. Or loading up the gravel bike with camping kit for a multi-day bikepacking adventure.

Gravel bikes offer stable handling off-road. That normally means a longer wheelbase and slacker angles for the frame and forks. A gravel bike will typically provide a more upright riding position than a regular road bike with a longer head tube and shorter reach.

The crucial feature of gravel bikes is tyre clearance allowing to run significantly bigger tyres than a road bike.

Aspre

The Romet Aspre 2 is an aluminium gravel bike designed for fast riding regardless of the terrain. It is also a perfectly matched gravel bike on the market, which will allow to fully personalize it to the riding style. The Aspre 2 is Romet’s iconic gravel bike. It is appreciated by many gravel enthusiasts thanks to its versatility and carefully selected components, making it an excellent choice for a variety of adventures on and off the gravel. The frame design of the Aspre 2 model allows for a more aerodynamic rider position thanks to a shorter seat tube. Comfort is additionally increased by a carbon fork and a wide handlebar with a flare system. All this makes the kilometers covered practically unnoticeable. The bike is a perfect match in more demanding terrain. The short top tube makes the bike agile and responsive: the bike responds perfectly to commands, taking the rider exactly where he wants to go. Additionally Shimano GRX drivetrain with a wide gear ratio was installed on the bike. 2 front chainrings will allow to choose the cadence for any type of riding: from quieter rides to more demanding off-road riding. Hydraulic disc brakes ensure safety in all conditions. WTB Riddler tires in size 38c provide excellent grip. Immerse yourself in the world of gravel, discover new routes and reach where you’ve always wanted. Aspre 2 will be an irreplaceable partner on every gravel expedition!

Frame

Durable and light 6061 AL X-Lite aluminium alloy. To create it, we used a modern hydroforming method, which practically has not limits in creating tube shapes from this material.

Hydroforming is a metal forming technology based on the application of pressurized oil to generate defined shapes of frame tubes.

The frame is compatible with 12/142mm thru axle standard.

It has a tapered headtube, what means it’s wider on the bottom what results with more stability than the traditional straight steerer.

Fork

The bike is equipped  with carbon fork.

It is compatible with 100//12 mm thru axle front wheel standard what is a standard solution on all modern gravel/road bikes.

The fork has a tapered steerer tube, what means it’s wider where the steerer meets the fork crown what results with more stability than the traditional straight steerer.
