Trekking bicycles are somewhere between mountain, city, and road bikes. Like a city bike that is a bit more “sporty,” a bit more convenient for riding on hiking trails (“light off road riding”). They usually come with flat bars unlike the curved road bike bars.
Trekking bicycles are like more sporty city bikes. Somewhere between a city bike, an MTB, and a road bike.
They are a bit more commuting and leisure riding oriented. These bikes usually have easier (“slower”) gearing, more MTB components (derailleurs, brakes), and often come with a suspension fork. There are a million variants in between. Like lighter trekking bikes with a rigid fork, and without any mudguards, or rear luggage rack. That’s probably the reason why many bicycles are often sold under the same category. They overlap to a great degree.
The Wagant 9 is an advanced version of our trekking model specially designed for men. A bike built for adventures and comfortable everyday riding. Hydroforming is a metal forming technology based on the application of pressurized oil to generate defined shapes of frame tubes.

This grey oragne finish makes this frame looking elegant, intense and classic. A unique feature is the Water Transfer beneath the lacquer, which is smooth to touch, unlike typical vinyl stickers that often leave a tactile presence on the surface. The durability comes from a powder-coating process. After applying the lacquer, it’s baked at 180°C (356°F), This method offers even colour and makes the product both attractive and high resistance to external factors like scratches and scuffs.
