The quiet and compact motor with torque sensors reduces pedalling drag and provides 20% more cruising range. Compatible with a wide range of mechanical and DI2 shift options, the EP800 drive unit offers up to an 85Nm output for light and refined pedal assist feel.
The torque sensor measures how much force a rider applies to the pedals, to then determine how much power the motor should output to the e-bike. Torque sensors make these adjustments in real-time, increasing or decreasing the motor’s output in unison with the amount of pedal force a rider applies.
Semi-integrated in the frame and lockable BMZ battery with 820Wh capacity, improves the biking experience by providing a strong and dependable power source. The BMZ battery enhances bike’s efficiency, allowing riders to travel up to 60 miles on a single charge.
